This two-part workshop will be led by artist and educator Giulia Ricciotini.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ePart One: Learn + Shoot\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDuring the first session, you’ll learn the fundamentals of shooting film, including how to load and unload a camera, meter for light, understand your camera’s core settings, and get the correct exposure.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThen, you’ll put what you’ve learned into practice. The class will head out together for a walk, where you’ll shoot through a roll of film. Development and scanning of your roll is included with your ticket.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ePart Two: Review + Learn\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe following week, the class will come back together to look at and discuss the photos from your first roll. You’ll have the opportunity to share your images with the group, talk through what worked and what didn’t, and learn from your results so you can better understand how your camera, film, and exposure choices translated into your final images.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBy the end of the workshop, you’ll have learned the fundamentals of shooting film and completed the full process of taking, developing, scanning, and reviewing your first roll.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eLimited camera rentals are available for $25\u003c\/strong\u003e for those who need one.
