If you are unsatisfied with your order for any reason, please contact us at hello@brooklynfilmcamera.com and we will do our best to help resolve the issue.
We offer a 14-day return window. You have 14 days from the date of delivery, as confirmed by carrier tracking, to request a return. Items delayed through transit may be inilegible for free returns. Returns are free of restocking fees when items come back in the exact same condition they were received. Items returned with signs of additional wear, use, or alteration may be subject to a 15 percent restocking fee, or the return may be denied at our discretion. Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to an error on our part (warranty).
To be eligible for a return, new items must be unopened, unused and unworn, with original tags and sealed packaging.
Vintage cameras and accessories must be returned in the same functional and cosmetic condition as at the time of purchase.
To initiate a return, please contact us at hello@brooklynfilmcamera.com. Items sent to us without prior return authorization will not be accepted.
Damages and Order Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Claims submitted after a reasonable inspection period may not be eligible for resolution.
Film Returns
All online film sales are final. We do not accept returns on film purchased online under any circumstances, as we cannot verify storage or handling once it has left our care.
In-store film purchases may be returned within 72 hours of purchase, provided the film is in its original sealed packaging. Once packaging is opened, all film sales become final. Gift cards are also non-returnable.
Cameras and Warranty Coverage
Cameras are eligible for return only within the 14-day return window. After 14 days, all camera sales are final and are covered exclusively under the applicable warranty policy. Warranty claims are handled as repair or replacement, at our discretion, for the duration of the stated warranty period. Refunds are not issued for cameras outside the return window.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or denial. If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Chargebacks and Disputes
Customers who initiate a chargeback or dispute with their card issuer automatically void our standard refund policy. The determination of the card issuer or bank is final and binding. If the card issuer or bank rules in favor of Brooklyn Film Camera, no refund or credit of any kind will be issued, regardless of whether the item is returned or its condition upon return. Customers are strongly encouraged to contact us directly to resolve any issues prior to initiating a chargeback.
