CLA'd Nikon Ai-s AIS Noct NIKKOR 58mm f/1.2 MF Lens

The legendary Noct-Nikkor, built around a hand-ground aspherical front element that sets it apart from every other fast fifty Nikon ever made. Designed to eliminate coma flare wide open, it renders point light sources as clean points instead of smeared wings, which is exactly why night and astro shooters have chased this lens for decades.

At f/1.2 it pulls in light most lenses can only dream of, and the rendering wide open is the whole reason it has a cult following: sharp where you place focus, with a falloff into background blur that feels three-dimensional rather than mushy. Stop it down and it tightens into a genuinely sharp, contrasty optic that holds its own against anything modern.

This one (serial 174174, an early hand-ground example) has been fully CLA'd by our bench, so the focus is smooth and even across the full throw, the aperture snaps cleanly at every click, and it is ready to mount and shoot. As an AI-s lens it carries the meter coupling to work across a wide range of Nikon bodies, film and digital alike with the right adapter.
