About SX-70 Accessories
Do I need a film shield for my SX-70?
It is not required, but it helps. A fresh Polaroid must stay out of light for at least five minutes while it develops, and the film shield covers the photo the moment it ejects. It costs $12 and fits vintage folding Polaroid cameras.
What does an ND filter do on an SX-70?
How do I take a self-portrait with an SX-70?
Use a remote or a timer, and put the camera on a tripod. On our shelf right now, a remote shutter button costs about $40–$60, the MiNT self timer $59 and the ball-head tripod $60.
Can an SX-70 use a flash?
Yes. The MiNT SX-70 Flashbar 2.0 ($105) slots into the flash port and works straight away. It runs on two AAA batteries and lets you keep shooting after dark. It works with the SX-70 Original, SX-70 Sonar and SX-70 Box cameras.
