We scan and send a download link. Film goes to the lab Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday — typical turnaround is 4–5 days.

How much does it cost to develop film?
Any roll costs $18 as a guest or $16 as a member, with medium-resolution scans included. That covers 35mm, 120 medium format, disposable cameras, black and white, E-6 slide film, and Super 8 and 110. Members also get free archival sleeving and TIFF files; guests pay $2 per order and $1 per roll.
How long does film developing take?
Typical turnaround is 4–5 days from drop-off. Exposed film goes out to the lab on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, so the weekday you bring it in decides which lab run it catches. Scans come back by download link, and negatives are returned sleeved on every order, free for members.
Do you develop disposable cameras?
Yes. We break the camera down and process the roll inside — $18 as a guest, $16 as a member, the same as a roll of 35mm.
Can I mail my film in?
Mail film from anywhere in the US in three steps. Outside the US? Email hello@brooklynfilmcamera.com and we'll sort it out. First place your developing order online so the lab expects it. Next buy a prepaid shipping label through the shipping labels tab. Then print the label we email you, pack the film securely, and ship it; scans return by download link.
Do you develop black & white and slide film?
Yes. Black & white, E-6 slide film, and push or pull processing are all $18 as a guest and $16 as a member.
Do I get my negatives back?
Yes, negatives come back on every order. Archival sleeving is $2 per order as a guest and free for members.
What resolution are the scans?
Every develop-and-scan order includes medium-resolution scans by download link. Upgrades are 4K at $12 per roll for guests and $6 for members ($4 on Serious), Pro at $18 and $15, and full-resolution TIFFs at $1 or free for members.
Do you develop 110, Super 8 or other specialty formats?
Yes — Super 8 and 110 are both $18 as a guest and $16 as a member.
Where do I drop off film?
Drop film off any day at 855 Grand Street, Brooklyn, NY 11211 — open daily 11am to 8pm, no appointment needed. Start your order online first, bring the film in, and scans arrive by download link in the usual 4–5 days. Negatives come back sleeved: free for members, $2 per order for guests.
Do you offer rush developing?
We don't offer same-day developing. Standard turnaround is 4–5 days, with film going to the lab Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Ask in store at 855 Grand Street or before mailing your film whether an urgent order can be sped up.
