POLAROID 101 with Martin Souza | One Pack of Polaroid Film Included | November 21, 2025; 7:30pm

In this hands-on workshop for beginners and the curious, we'll talk about the basics of Polaroid integral film and the essentials of using it effectively. Then we’ll put that knowledge into practice with guided shooting. Cameras will be provided for participants, but feel free to bring your own if you already have one. No previous experience necessary.

Ticket includes one pack of Polaroid film to be used during your class!

About your Instructor: Martin Souza (@polatronic_martin) became a Polaroid photographer when he borrowed his father’s SX-70 in 2022. As an inquisitive beginner with no technical knowledge of photography, he approached the Polaroid medium on its own intuitive terms, and quickly came to love its immediacy, unpredictability, and imperfection. His professional practice, Polatronic Studio, is focused on sharing knowledge and experience, and encouraging others to explore and experiment with instant photography. Martin is also a volunteer with the Instant Film Society (@instantfilmsociety), Editor at The Instant Film Magazine, and host of the NYC Instant Photowalk (@nycinstantphotowalk).
