About Disposable Cameras
Where can I get a disposable camera developed?
Bring it to our Brooklyn lab at 855 Grand Street, open every day 11am to 8pm, or mail it in from anywhere. We break the camera down and develop and scan the roll inside. Typical turnaround is 4–5 days. Our guide to developing film by mail shows how to send it.
How much does it cost to develop a disposable camera?
It costs $18 a roll at our lab, or $16 for members, and that includes developing and scans. You do not pay extra for taking the camera apart. See every price on our film developing page, or read the complete developing guide.
What is a disposable camera?
A disposable camera is a single-use film camera that comes loaded with a roll of 35mm film. You wind it, shoot it, then hand in the whole camera to be developed. The Kodak FunSaver and Fuji Quick Snap are the best known. Both are out of stock right now.
How many pictures does a disposable camera take?
How long can you keep a disposable camera before developing it?
Develop it as soon as you can. Film slowly loses quality after it is shot, and heat and humidity make it worse, so keep the camera somewhere cool and dry. An old camera in a drawer can still give you photos, so bring it in. Our lab will develop it for $18.
