600 Modification

This camera modification will allow your SX-70 Original or Sonar to shoot Polaroid 600 film. 

SX-70 cameras were designed to use 100ASA film, ie SX-70 film. ASA is the speed/sensitivity of the film, the lower the number the slower the film. Meaning the lower the number the more light you need for a good exposure. If you have ever tried to use your SX-70 indoors or in low light you know what we are talking about.

600ASA film, ie 600 film, is significantly faster which will give you more versatility in allowing you to use your SX-70 in lower-light settings. 

Please note that this modification requires the soldering of a new capacitor to your cameras motherboard and is a permanent modification; your SX-70 camera will only be capable of shooting 600 films after being modified.
