                  About Olympus

                  What battery does an Olympus Stylus or mju take?

                  Most Olympus Stylus and mju point and shoots take one CR123A lithium battery. The XA family takes small button cells instead. Check the battery door of your model before you buy. Every camera we sell is tested, and point and shoots come with a 3-month warranty.

                  Where can I buy an Olympus mju?

                  You can buy one here, online or at our shop at 855 Grand Street in Brooklyn. On our shelf right now, the Olympus Stylus MJU is about $425, and Stylus Zooms run about $420–$480. Each is checked for shutter, meter and focus.

                  What is the difference between the Olympus XA and the XA2?

                  The XA is a rangefinder with manual focus and aperture priority. The XA2 is simpler: you set focus by zone symbols and it picks the exposure. Both are tiny with a 35mm lens. We stock the XA at about $380 and the XA2 at about $340.

                  How do you use an Olympus film camera?

                  Open the back and load a 35mm cartridge, close it, and the Stylus and mju wind on automatically. On an XA2 you set the film speed and pick a focus zone. Then frame and press. Our lab develops and scans your roll for $18, or $16 for members.
