Send us your best pictures
You have a few photos the world should see! Send them to us. The ones we approve can end up on our social media and in our ads, always credited to you. Soon you’ll also be able to sell them as prints through our print shop and license them to brands through BFC Stock, our stock library of photos and footage shot on real film and tape. You keep the copyright, and you get 50% of every print and license sold.
What we’re looking for: art-focused work, shot on film or tape only.
Photos on 35mm, medium format, large format, Polaroid and Instax. Footage on Super 8, 16mm, Regular 8, Hi8, VHS, VHS-C and MiniDV. No phones, no digital cameras, no scans of prints you didn’t shoot.
How it works
Developed with us? Tap “Submit photos” on any roll on your scans page. Your full-resolution files come along, no uploading. Didn’t develop with us, upload photos or footage here.

A person looks at everything you send and decides whether to approve it. Grain, light leaks, tracking lines and deliberate blur are welcome.
See what’s been approved and featured, and take anything down whenever you want. Approved work is first in line when prints and BFC Stock open. Open My photos.
People in your photos
If anyone in a photo or clip is recognizable, famous or not, they need to be OK with it. Crowds, backs of heads, and people too far away to tell who they are don’t count.
When you submit, add their name and email and we’ll send them a release to sign. It comes straight back to us. For anyone under 18, put a parent or guardian’s email instead.
- No recognizable people: our social media, our ads, prints and BFC Stock.
- Release signed: the same, everywhere.
- They’re OK with it but haven’t signed yet: our social media, and BFC Stock licensing to magazines and news only. Ads and prints open up once they sign.
Places don’t need anything from you. If we ever need permission for a location, we’ll ask.
How many you can send
New contributors can send up to 10 per roll. Once 5 of yours have been approved, the limit comes off. My photos shows where you stand.
The fine print
The first time you submit, you sign our Contributor Agreement once. It covers how your work can be used, credit and payment. If you change your mind about anything, take it down from My photos and we’ll pull it within 30 days. Prints and licenses already sold stay with whoever bought them.
